What can I say about Harmony Sandalphon? The first real family I have had in many years. There was a time things could have been so different for us but really I am glad it didn't, because the relationship we have is perfect. A true friend, a sister and one of the few people to put up with me for so long... Even if you are only fun sized.

Bridge of Thoughts

He had come to realise something very early on in his very long life, he lived most of his life in his head. There were very few who truly knew what it was like inside there, and even fewer who would stick around long after they had. He often found himself stopping, spending time to take in his surroundings and live his life in his head. Sometimes for as moment, sometimes for hours on end, either way it helped him take himself out of the world for just a short while and reflect.

I Know a Bar Where the Drinks Are Free

Most people have a drinks cabinet or a mini bar in their homes, not him. Since his club was burned down (multiple times) he had always missed keeping a well stocked bar... and now he had one again. The spirits were stocked and the draught beer on tap was kept well chilled. He leaned against the bar with his elbow contemplating whether it was worth throwing a housewarming party yet.

He'd probably never had it easier. An infared sensor? Please. The keys in a lock box by the door? Why, thank you! He chuckled lightly as he straightened his tie and corrected his cuflinks. Well, if you're going to steal a high-end car like this you have to look the part, right? He wondered for a moment as he put the key in the door, did James Bond himself even look this suave?

Getting Up in the Evening

As the sun passed across the edge of cliffs and through the bare window it managed to creep its way across the floor. It's glare was uninhibited by the rich wooden floorboards as the amber glow made it evident that it was time for him to rise. He lifted his head a few inches from the pillow before openning his eyes and looking dirtily at the evidence of his old solar enemy, even though half a century had passed he still at least prefered the dark.
He slid from between the black satin sheets and pulled on a pair of trousers, looking at his shirt and jacket from the previous night. He placed his face in his hands and rubbed away the sleep. Taking the jacket up and slipping on his sneakers, he sighed.
He placed his hand on one of the bed posts, feeling the deadly material. Stretching out, he leaned on both end posts and hung his head slightly. Deep in thought, his mind racing through every aspect of his current situations... I hope the path reveals itself soon. Right, wrong or between, any path would be appreciated right now.
